Your Company, Your Valentine

It’s Valentine’s Day! Have you considered showing your company some of the day’s love?

Not everyone can run their own business. Not everyone wants to run their own business. If your entrepreneurial spirit found you establishing your own business, take this day to embrace what you have created. You deserve it and your business can always use a heartfelt embrace.

Small ways to acknowledge your business today include actions as simple as cleaning up your space, moving some furniture around, buying that special piece of artwork for that wall that has been staring back at you for awhile, or adding flowers to your office space. Chocolates always add some interest to your space for as long as they are around, which, in some offices like mine, may not be long!

Today is a great day to embrace what you have created. A business needs to grow to progress and needs to morph with its ownership, industry, marketplace. You can make this a fun event by enhancing how it looks, how it feels, how it is visibly presented to clients or employees or vendors. Sometimes, your efforts can be minimal with your results impactful.

Hang a wreath, bring in chocolates to share, buy colorful napkins for the office kitchen, hand out Valentine Cards to colleagues, all these should promote the love you have for the business you created.
