Fetching Input from Your Clients

Ongoing engagement with your clients is the best way to continue to enhance your product or service offerings. Input can be solicited directly or formally through surveys.

Have you found yourself wondering how your business can enhance its offerings? If you do not have the staff to conduct outreach for you, consider using some of the free online surveys. Or send out an email blast, likely many of your clients will want to help you and will respond.

If you conduct annual reviews with your clients, that can be an ideal time to solicit helpful information on which of your latest ideas may be best received. Direct one on one dialogue can best be obtained in informal discussions where conversational commentary helps shape your brand in the near term future. Just remember to take notes. This is far too important to resort to pure memory.

Focusing on client input can take many forms. You can toss an idea out there the way toys are thrown to toy driven dogs. How quickly a client responds, much like how interested your canine buddy may be in the new toy, will help you understand where your focus should be. Whether you use online surveys, direct emails, or good old fashioned conversation, toss out your ideas and gain valuable feedback.

Be well.
