Somewhere Over the Rainbow
When it is time to add a different perspective to running your business, no need to take a step forward or backward, just look up. And somewhere over that rainbow, you may hear the buzzing of the future, a drone.
Last week, one of our clients purchased a drone and quickly learned how to use it. And the results were amazing. Photos of the top of a church built in the 1800’s. Despite a few of us having climbed up the narrow steps and crawled through the small attic space, nothing could have prepared us for the awe inspiring views from the sky. They are already being reviewed and analyzed for the cause of some of the issues with the aging building. There is nothing like a top down view. It truly gives you perspective, literally and figuratively.
According to Datafloq.com, the drone industry is expected to reach $100 Billion in the next few years. Opportunities appear to be vast and ever growing. They lost the following seven (7) areas of growth: retail, transportation, entertainment, agriculture, search & rescue, home security, and construction. Our use falls in the last category.
Whem it comes time to spice up your marketing material, consider drone photography of your business or its use on a project that can easily be incorporated into your marketing material. It is a clear way to differentiate your services and certainly will garner attention. Many commercial photographers are offering drone photos for your projects. A quick internet search should yield a few near you. Likely a better way to see what drone technology can do for your business before investing in one yourself.
New technology is always exciting and drone technology is no exception. Being able to soar above your normal views can give you a renewed sense of excitement for how your business can be perceived. Showcasing a different side of you, your services, your products, or your actual location can help you achieve an immediate positive impact. If you are a commercial mural artist, a manufacturer, or a professional service, there is always a different view to that next project.
Be like Finn, Houie, and Astro in our photo of the week, find a new perspective over the rainbow. It may be time to click those proverbial ruby shoes and take your business to a new level. A fresh top down view can be your own yellow brick road.
Be well.
