Celebrate, Celebrate, Celebrate!
In a much earlier blog, we discussed the real estate mantra Location, Location, Location. Today, we will discuss the importance of continuing to celebrate company milestones, successes, and new aspects that differentiate your firm from the next.
Recently, a colleague commented on a Facebook Post about a particular new project. To her, that post and its implied success, meant a large profit. I went on to explain the importance of celebrating all a company is proud of through marketing efforts and social media. At times, the monetary implications may be minimal, but the profile of the firm may be elevated in circles it has not been considered before. Or, more importantly, the profile and awareness of your firm, your service or product, may garner attention and interest in new groups that would normally not have a chance to research what you offer. They likely may not have heard of you. This can be equally as important or perhaps more, for the leads that might be generated in this new forum could help your firm to thrive.
We have discussed before the many uses of social media and its ‘free’ advertising. If you do not want to purchased ads to boost your posts, consider posting client testimonials surrounding your work. Those can often be a platform for wooing more like-minded clients.
Also, as work anniversaries present themselves, make sure to celebrate those. Have a cake made for Congratulation milestones and post that enticing cake on all your platforms. Inviting clients and vendors close by to stop by for a socially distant piece of that cake is a great way to show your appreciation and makes for lovely photos to blast on social media.
Another manner to publicly celebrate your company milestones is to align with a Not for Profit. You can volunteer, run a drop off site if the cause permits, or make a donation in honor of your firm’s success. Many firms at holiday times now make a donation as opposed to spending the money on a party or gift giving. Both the announcement of the organization selected for the first donation and the photos of a delicious cake are small gestures to say thank you and to celebrate all that we are. Sometimes, our celebrations are more memorable and impactful than the business successes themselves!
Be like Chloe, the Shih Tsu Mix, in our weekly Blog Photo and make sure you Celebrate when the moment surrounds you! It will help you spread the excitement about your brand. Post often, at least once a week, there can never be too many celebrations!
Be well.
