Socialize your Brand

When you bring a new pet home, specifically a puppy or dog, friends, family, and trainers will always tell you to socialize them. This takes many forms for each individual pet and it is no different for a business brand.

We have written about attending events and becoming involved in your industry trade groups, but when a local community fundraiser is presented at your doorstep, take advantage of it! We posted such a flyer the other day on our social media sites.

Our firm is located in a very large converted Ford manufacturing plant, known as the Tri-Main Center. A tenant that occupies much of one of the top floors is a not-for-profit that supports the Arts. Historically, pre—pandemic, they ran a large fundraiser called Tri-Mania. The historic car manufacturing plant, turned office building, became alive at night with artists and musical performers, entertainment and refreshments. While we had never attended in the past, we have been told there were thousands of people that attended. Wow, that is a lot of people to reach with your Brand!

This year, post-pandemic, Tri-Mania_Reboot, the first in many years, arrives at our building the evening of Saturday, March 29th. Individual suites, such as ours, can choose to participate and host an artist, a performer, a not-for-profit, or one of each! Much depends on the size of your suite. There are large bands strategically arranged in public spaces on the floors and smaller, more intimate musical performances, within smaller suites.

My sister’s firm shares the suite with my firm. We made a joint decision to participate to show our support and love for the Arts and to show our support for our landlord and the fundraising entity, Buffalo Arts Studio. But, make no mistake, it is also a great opportunity to ‘socialize’ both our brands. Only a billboard on a busy highway could garner as many eyes as this type of event. The efforts to ‘clean up’ our suite and offer some light refreshments are well worth the investment.

Despite both our firms being ‘aged’ in dog terms, we still need to socialize our brand and ourselves. If you are local, consider attending, tickets can be purchased online by searching Tri-Mania_Reboot. If you cannot attend, we will surely share photos and our experience through this Blog and social media afterwards. You or your pet are never too old to socialize!

Be well.
