A Spring in Your Step

It is the first day of March. This year, more than most, deserves a refresh and a Spring in your step.

Working theough a Pandemic has pushed many of us to the brink in the past year, both individually and professionally. But ,with the beginning of the Spring Season, there are many small changes you can make to your business to give it a refresh.

We have been diligent in the addition of fresh, colorful flowers to our workspace since we signed the lease. This season has been no different. Bringing in tulips is a clear sign of warmer days to come. Our office currently has several vases brightening the glow of the office. And as we continue to see grey gloomy days outside, it is a joy to bring vivacious and uplifting colors and fragrances to the inside. Visit your local florist, you will not be disappointed.

Although most of us are constantly cleaning and sanitizing our space since the Pandemic, a good spring cleaning of your office space focused on colors can make a big difference. Buy some new colorful garbage cans, add some more blue tote recycle cans or bins. You will be surprised how fresh the office will feel again.

if you have lounging furniture for you or guests, change up any pillows or blankets. Brighter colors will pop and remind you that the stark and the gloom of the grey cold days is almost in the rear view mirror. New dishcloths or colored napkins for your office kitchen space will also do the trick. None of this needs to be expensive. Save the dollars for the fresh flowers.

And since it is March, make sure you updated your Calendars around the office. We added a few that include the museums around Buffalo, impressionist flower paintings, and a lovely wall calendar of places in New York City, one of our favorite places to visit in non-Pandemic times. These small reminders around the office really can improve your outlook and provide daily inspiration.

So ring in the start of March and the promise of warmer weather to come with some subtle changes around your office. Be like our Frenchie puppy in today’s blog photo, bask in the joy of the Spring that will be upon us soon.

Be well.
